As a surprise, festival audiences will be able to enjoy Ken Loach’s new film Looking for Eric. More about the film here.
Ticket presales for Looking for Eric will start on July 7 given that the first festival screening is July 8. Tickets for Looking for Eric will only be available at the main box office in Hotel Thermal.

Because of the addition of Russia’s Wolfy to the main competition, the festival’s program department has had to make several program changes. “We are very excited about Wolfy despite only seeing a working version of it,” says the festival’s program director Julietta Sichel. The producer of the film confirmed its participation at the festival at the last moment, shortly after the movie won at the festival in Sochi, Russia. “We went for it even though the brochures and posters were already at the printers,” adds Sichel, noting that the film did make it into the catalogue thanks to the willingness of the catalogue team.
Wolfy, about a problematic relationship between a mother and daughter, will be screened at the festival on July 7 in two time slots.

For technical reasons we have canceled both screenings of The Physics of Water (La fisica dell’acqua). The film will not be presented at the festival.
