Synopsis
Freddy has left behind in Bolivia the people he loves most, his family. He has come to Buenos Aires to find a job and somewhere for them all to live. But this city is not as friendly as it used to be during its rich and prosperous era. Buenos Aires is no longer a place for dreams. Freddy starts to work illegally as a cook in a bar for a few pesos a day. Here he encounters people who seem to be outsiders in their own land: his boss, who does not remember whether Freddy is from Bolivia, Peru or elsewhere, a street salesman who is discriminated for being gay, a taxi driver who believes that all life’s evils are the work of foreigners, or Rosa, a girl from Paraguay who works here as a waitress. Like many others, Freddy will also become just another nameless victim of the city.
