Synopsis

This Mexican documentary puts forward an original look at the history of the twentieth century through the life story of Lithuanian emigrant Luis Frank. It is a journey trapped in time in a world marked by wars, which focuses on emigration, military conflicts, nostalgic returns to his childhood years and memories of Mexico. Many strong personal and social events influenced the lives of people who were forced to travel around the world looking for a new home. Sharing in the melancholy of these unwillig sojourners, the director took memory as the starting point and goal of her documentary film. “More than reconstructing Luis´slife step by step," she asserts , " inthis documentary I tried to recover the individuals, places, facts, feelings and atmospheres that marked him and his lifetime.”, she asserts.
