About the film
Modern Buenos Aires. 24-year-old Paula is young, pretty and talented. She wants to be an actress. But today she’s having a bad day: she has only 24 hours to get some money to pay her rent, or she’ll be chucked out of her flat. Her landlord has finally lost his patience and time is running out. Paula only has 24 hours to find this money and nobody to turn to. Trapped by urgency and despair, Paula tries to earn money as a prostitute. But it is not as easy as it looks… A realistic portrait of today’s young people in Argentina, where an interminable social and economic crisis has turned the younger generation of middle-class Argentinians into street-wise survivors.
