Synopsis
Period anti-war rhetoric is taken further here with the idea to visualise dangerous aggression not only in the desire to rule the world, but also in a seemingly innocent children’s game. Trnka comes up with uncharacteristically stark caricature, while the film is also effective for its close proximity of images of the same locations, “before” and “after” the destructive strikes.
