Synopsis
Fritz Lang embarked upon the second part of The Spiders knowing that there was not enough money to make the originally planned four-part series, thus he had to compress the plot of his novel of the same name and come up with a denouement at the end of the second film. Having eliminated her rival, the criminal Lio Sha spins a web of intrigue together with her other “Spiders”, in order to abduct the daughter of John Terry, the “King of the Diamonds”. Adventurer Kay Hoog, on the trail of a unique diamond, discovers that it is located on the Falkland Islands, and so he sets out to find it – with the “Spiders” on his heels... Unlike the first part, the sequel, The Diamond Ship, has survived almost intact.
