Synopsis
In their second documentary, directing duo Martin Dušek and Ondřej Provazník tell the story of two women whose lives are irreversibly marked by the mining of brown coal. The two women stand on opposite sides of the barricade. The first, a spokeswoman for the coal company, defends the need to flatten the village of Horní Jiřetín, which is located on a coal field. The second, an inhabitant of the village and warden of the local castle, fights tooth and nail for its preservation.
