Industry Accreditation

Industry accreditation is reserved for film industry professionals only (buyers, distributors, film festival and film institution representatives, investors, producers, sales agents, and representatives of service companies)

Industry accreditation gives access to:

• Film Industry office services 
• four free tickets to four different screenings per day
• Press & Industry screenings
• other festival venues marked with the appropriate accreditation color (meeting point, video room, etc.)
• screenings without a ticket (if the screening is not sold out)
• press conferences (if not fully occupied by press accreditation holders)
  

Application for industry accreditation

• The industry accreditation applications are accepted from April 14 till June 8, 2008. It is not possible to apply for the Industry accreditation after this date
• You may fill in the accreditation form online from April 14. You will receive your access data (login and password) to your online accreditation form by e-mail after you fill in the request for accreditation. This registration information will enable you to access your festival data and online Film Industry Guide (since mid-June) at this website 
• Do not forget to fill in the dates of your arrival and departure and your festival address. This is published in the Film Industry Guide and Who’s Where and serves to festival protocol and other festival participants

Conditions for obtaining industry accreditation

• A completed accreditation form (sent by June 8, 2008)
• Individuals not applying for accreditation as representatives of companies should send the request for accreditation together with a résumé, filmography, and recent activities
• One photo sent preferably by email (only if you have not been accredited since 2003)

Accreditation fee

• The Industry accreditation fee is 2000 CZK  (1 Euro is approximately 25 CZK)
• The Industry Accreditation fee is to be paid by each participant when picking up his or her accreditation in Karlovy Vary (from July 4, 2008)
• Note: If you wish to obtain an invoice requesting payment, please send us your invoice details by June 8, 2008. Invoices will not be issued after the end of the festival.
  

Obtaining your industry accreditation

• You may check the information about obtaining the accreditation at the site with your festival data (after you log in) before your arrival to the festival
• You may pick up your industry accreditation at the accreditation center (located in the Hotel Thermal in Karlovy Vary) beginning July 4, 2008
• By picking up the accreditation you will be asked to pay the accreditation fee 
• The festival reserves the right to refuse any application which does not meet its criteria
• Industry accreditation is personal and non-transferable
• Lost industry accreditations can be replaced for a fee of 200 CZK
