Synopsis
Shot with an exceptional sense for detail, the film takes us on a visit to see two Hungarian sisters who emigrated to America decades ago to earn their living as dressmakers. After closing down their shop on Lexington Avenue, they moved the business into the spare bedroom. 87-year-old Vali and 93-year-old Mimi work forty hours a week, they squabble all the time but are also very caring of each other. Even at this grand age they maintain a fresh spirit and pure intellect, thanks to which they are able to comment with insight on crucial moments in their long lives.
