About the film
“We are full of fear, to the brim,” says the nightclub bouncer (Ray Winstone) who narrates this nimble drama in characteristically colourful, expletive-spattered style. Co-starring Paddy Considine (In America).
About the director
Michael Baig Clifford studied film and television at Middlesex University. His TV documentary work includes films about soccer player Stuart Pearce, ABBA tribute band Björn Again, and unexploded bombs in Laos. He has made two shorts, Bouncer (BAFTA-nominated) and Brown Paper Bag (2003, BAFTA winner), and has directed numerous episodes of the UK TV soap Doctors.
