Synopsis
Domestic Dutch comedy hit Schnitzel Paradise is a multiculti romance wrapped in a workplace laffer involving a sizeable United Nations of undocumented and unpaid kitchen staff. Hunky Moroccan nice guy Nordip (Mounir Valentyn) tells trad dad he works in a library but actually washes dishes. Tender love affair with boss’s niece Agnes (Bracha van Doesburgh) threatens harmony with a gaggle of eccentric co-workers including sassy busboy Amimoun (Hush, Hush, Baby! star Mimoun Oaissa). Buoyant entry from arthouse helmer Martin Koolhoven continues benevolent Can’t we all just get along? vibe of 2004 B.O. champ Shouf Shouf Habibi! (Hush, Hush, Baby!).
