Synopsis
A biopic created to mark the 40th anniversary of the death of one of the most popular and most refined of Czech directors. In addition to clips from his films, the filmmakers also point to the historical events that influenced his work and private life – a life he, himself, ended upon the arrival of the Soviet tanks in August of 1968.
