About the film

Brazilian filmmaker Sergio Oksman takes us to Pamplona, Spain during the Fiesta of San Fermin where, according to the director’s interesting hypothesis, the famous image was created of Ernest Hemingway as a writer enamored of thrills and adventure. With the help of an archive photograph and footage from the international Hemingway lookalike contest in Florida, Oksman searches for the actual identity of the renowned writer. This brilliantly constructed documentary, working the idea that "a hunter’s last trophy is his own head,” won well-deserved awards at film festivals in Warsaw and Cadiz.

About the director

Sergio Oksman (b. 1970, Brazil) graduated in journalism from university in São Paulo and in direction from film school in New York.
