The Milk of Sorrow
The winner of the Golden Bear at this year’s Berlinale. And uncompromisingly dark story of a girl named Fausta and her grief. After withdrawn Fausta’s mother dies, she is left alone with the trauma of having been born as the product of rape. The film’s unusual poetic is like nothing else.

Soul at Peace
Slovakia’s competition entry, based on a script by Czech screenwriter Jiří Křižan, tells the highly realistic story of a man who returns to his village after being released from prison. There he discovers that the road to personal freedom is lined with the struggle against old sins.

Small Crime
An excellent Greek crime comedy about a frustrated but very charismatic policemen who struggles with boredom on a remote Greek isle. Then one day a local homeless man turns up dead at the foot of a cliff. The investigation offers the cop excitement and maybe even a new love.
