On the last day of the Karlovy Vary festival,
Echoes of the Karlovy Vary IFF will open in Prague. Like every film festival, Karlovy Vary offers a huge variety of film experiences that even the most enthusiastic moviegoers find it physically impossible to manage. And so for the tenth time, the official Echoes of the Karlovy Vary IFF will allow you to relive your favorite festival movie experiences or finally squeeze into screenings that were hopelessly sold-out at the KVIFF.
"We are truly happy that our very close and successful cooperation with the Karlovy Vary festival has borne fruit in the form of thousands of satisfied viewers over the past 10 years. In terms of programming, Echoes is always the proverbial icing on the cake we are trying to bake throughout the year. Even at first glance, it's clear that like every year, Echoes will provide a well-beaten and richly decorated mix offering every viewer something to choose from. Aero and Světozor theaters are prepared to serve," says Ivo Andrle, program director for Aero and Světozor theaters.
Dubbed Šary Vary, Echoes will take place in Prague’s Aero and Světozor theaters beginning Saturday, July 11. Echoes will continue at Aero theater until Sunday, July 19, and at Světozor theater (both halls) until Wednesday, July 22.
