I’ve been incredibly lucky, says John Malkovich

John Malkovich is set to receive a Crystal Globe award for outstanding artistic contribution to world cinema at KVIFF’s closing ceremony this evening. On Friday afternoon the great US film and theatre actor enjoyed a kind of dry run on the red carpet at Thermal, when he arrived for a screening of his directorial debut The Dancer Upstairs.

In an interview, Malkovich discussed his career to date, and outlined plans for a theatre tour around Europe.
