Leading film and theatre actor Willem Dafoe has arrived at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival. The two-time Oscar nominee will receive the Crystal Globe for Outstanding Contribution to World Cinema at KVIFF’s opening ceremony on Friday 1 July.

​On 1 July after 5pm, Willem Dafoe will greet the audience on the red carpet in front of the entrance to the Hotel Thermal’s Grand Hall. On 2 July, he will present the film Pasolini at 10:30pm in the Grand Hall. The screening will be preceded by a live recording session for the talk show “Na plovárně s Markem Ebenem” with audience participation. On 3 July at 11pm, Dafoe will present The Last Temptation of Christ at the Outdoor Cinema.
