House of Others, which had its world premiere in Karlovy Vary, where it won the main prize in the East of West section, won the American Society of Cinematographers’ Award (camera: Gorka Gómez Andreu). 

This debut film looks at the evils of war without any scenes of battle. It is also a highly original work, with a visual quality on par with the films of Tarkovsky and Zvyagintsev. The film confirms the unprecedented rise of Georgian cinema.
