A number of events are planned for the opening evening on July 3, 2015, not only in the Thermal hotel, but in locations all around Karlovy Vary. Entry to all events is free of charge! In cooperation with our partners and other associates, we’ve organised lots of attractive bonus prizes and venues to try out. And it’s very easy to get to them.

Everyone who arrives at an opening event wearing a bow tie or red lipstick has a chance to win one of the bonus prizes. You can find a summary of the venues, events and bonus prizes on our poster below. Bring a bow tie from your own wardrobe or get a paper version when you buy any kind of Festival Pass valid for the opening day, July 3, 2015. You can also purchase a bow tie and in doing so support the official non-profit partner of the 50th KVIFF. The 20-crown bow ties can be bought in the Breast Dome organised by the Alliance of Women with Breast Cancer or from the live statues with hourglasses you’ll come across in the Karlovy Vary spa quarter (on Friday, July 3, 2015, from 2 pm to 6 pm). Girls and ladies can have their lips done “gala” red from the official KVIFF make-up artists, Douglas perfumery, at the company’s stand at Sadová kolonáda.
