VIDEO: Interview with Timo Novotny

Trains of Thoughts by director Timo Novotny – a music-fuelled exploration of the underground rail networks of some of the world’s major cities – is in the documentary competition at the 47th Karlovy Vary IFF. In an interview, the German-born, Austria-based filmmaker discussed the differing social worlds of the metropolises’ metro systems and how people’s characters change when they go underground.
