Bella Vista by Uruguayan filmmaker Alicia Cano – which maps the story of a village football club building that is turned into a transvestite brothel and later a chapel – received its world premiere at the 47th KVIFF, where it has been competing in the documentary section. In an interview, the director, 30, discussed how she hit on the subject and how the protagonists reacted to the presence of cameras.
