John Wells, perhaps best known for his work on television series like ER and The West Wing, is in Karlovy Vary with his first feature film as director, The Company Men. In an interview, he discusses its long gestation, what employers owe employees in a time of financial crisis, why big name actors are attracted to smaller and more challenging projects, and balancing his work in TV and movies.
