  • Festival of Glass Arts in Karlovy Vary

In collaboration with the Curative Natural Resources and Colonnades Administration and the City of Karlovy Vary, and with the support of the Karlovy Vary Region, Minea Gallery – Carlsart is organizing the traditional Festival of Glass Arts from July 1 to August 31, 2017, at the Vřídlo Colonnade, now for the 17th consecutive year.

The Moser glassworks in Karlovy Vary has produced many of his original designs over the last fifty years. A multi-metre, glass-and-metal statue by Jiří Šuhájek also graces the open area in front of the Moser glassworks, which has also lent its support to the Festival of Glass Arts and this year’s exhibit.

The exhibition architect is Václav Kouba, and the curator is Eva Hanyková. Admission is free of charge, daily from July 1 to August 31, 2017, 10 am to 6 pm.
