Tracy Flick is Carrer High School’s smartest student. School elections are coming up. Who will win? A wicked social satire on America, masquerading as a teen comedy.

Synopsis

Tracy Flick is the smartest student in Carver High. Her teacher Mr. McAllister is the most involved teacher at Carver High. School elections are coming up and Tracy Flick is the only one running. After seeing Tracy always winning and doing everything right, Mr. McAllister decides that it is about time to act... He talks another student, Paul, into running against Tracy, who is mortified that Paul is even trying to compete. What’s more, another candidate appears: Tammy, Paul ’s lesbian sister... Who will win the election this year? A wicked social satire on America, masquerading as a teen comedy. “Because films are expensive, it’s like under communism. At a certain point you have to become a party member! And then you try to smuggle your ideas. You can make a good movie under any system. It’s the movies that are just not very intelligent these days.”  (Alexander Payne)
