Synopsis
Another debut film from Argentina which tells the story of five young people trying to survive in modern Buenos Aires. They have their desires, they want to become somebody, they even have talent - but in the end they spend their time doing different, mostly tedious tasks because they have to make ends meet, or because they always need an excuse not to attempt to fulfil their dreams. The main characters work, talk nonsense, tell lies, fall in love, look for sex and wait for change. The film speaks about the simple, seemingly banal things in life in a contemporary fresco of the big city, surprisingly reminiscent of Chekhov in its atmosphere - proving that Argentines and Slavs may have much more in common than you’d think.
