Willem Dafoe – recipient of the Crystal Globe for Outstanding Artistic Contribution to World Cinema

1 July, 5 pm opening ceremony – greeting the audience on the red carpet in front of the entrance to the Hotel Thermal’s Grand Hall

2 July, 10:30 pm in the Grand Hall – Dafoe will present the film Pasolini

 The screening will be preceded by a live recording session for the talk show “Na plovárně s Markem Ebenem” with audience participation

3 July, 11 pm – Dafoe will present The Last Temptation of Christ at the Outdoor Cinema


Anthropoid – world premiere

Cast and crew: Sean Ellis, Jamie Dornan, Toby Jones, Aňa Geislerová, Alena Mihulová, Václav Neužil

1 July, 5 pm – the cast and crew will greet the audience on the red carpet in front of the Hotel Thermal’s Grand Hall

1 July, 7:45 pm, 8 pm – the cast and crew will present a public screening of Anthropoid in the Hotel Thermal’s Congress Hall and Small Hall


Jean Reno – recipient of the KVIFF President’s Award for Outstanding Artistic Contribution to World Cinema

4 July, 10:30 pm – Reno will receive his award in the Hotel Thermal’s Grand Hall, introduce a screening of Leon, and greet the audience on the red carpet


Charlie Kaufman – recipient of the KVIFF President’s Award for Outstanding Artistic Contribution to World Cinema

1 July – guest at the opening ceremony

7 July, 10:30 pm – introduces Anomalisa in the Hotel Thermal’s Grand Hall

The screening will be preceded by a live recording session for the talk show “Na plovárně s Markem Ebenem” with audience participation

9 July – receives KVIFF award at the festival’s closing ceremony
