KVIFF Closing ceremony: Czech film wins main competition for first time in 15 years

In this report from the gala closing of the 52nd Karlovy Vary we hear from the recipients of this year’s main prizes: Václav Kadrnka (Grand Prix – Crystal Globe for Best Feature Film for Little Crusader, making him the first Czech filmmaker to take the award in 15 years), Gustavo Salmerón (Grand Prix for Best Documentary Film for A Lot of Kids, a Monkey and a Castle), Eliane Umuhire and Jowita Budnik (shared Best Actress Award for The Birds are Singing in Kigali) and Peter Bebjak (Best Director Award for The Line).
