First Aid at the 56th annual KVIFF

What should you do if you need first aid? The 56th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival has put together a plan for the safe course of the festival in cooperation with the Karlovy Vary Regional Hospital and mobile teams of emergency medical technicians on electric bikes from FASTMEDIC.
In collaboration with the Karlovy Vary Regional Hospital, KVIFF operates a medical service station on the festival grounds. You can find it by the entrance to the congress part of Hotel Thermal from the upper parking lot. The station will be staffed by emergency medical personnel every day of the festival from 8:00 am to 1:00 am.
Rapid first aid will be provided at prominent sites as well as in places not easily reached by ambulance by FASTMEDIC mobile medics on bicycles. Two-member patrols will be moving around the festival grounds on electric mountain bikes, equipped with special medical backpacks filled with important aids for the initial treatment of patients, such as sterile gauze, disinfectant, and automatic defibrillators. If needed, they can contact emergency medical services via radio.
If you or someone around you needs medical assistance during a screening, please seek out a member of the KVIFF staff in a white T-shirt labelled STAFF. You can find them in the immediate vicinity of the screening rooms and other prominent locations. In case of emergency, do not be afraid to ask those around you for help.
If you cannot make use of any of the above options, contact emergency medical services via telephone by dialing 155.
