HD photographs

Journalists may use photographs free of charge after logging in to the website. Login and password can be obtained at [email protected]. Photographs on the current program can be found in the individual news or in the Gallery. When publishing official festival photographs please list the source as: Film Servis Festival Karlovy Vary.

Photographs from previous festivals can be found in the Gallery.

Press conferences

During the festival, press conferences are held in the Congress Hall on the first floor of the Hotel Thermal; entry is with valid press accreditation.
Simultaneous translation is provided (pick up headphones by the entrance); technicians will be on hand to help connect recording devices.
A preliminary programme will be published online in the Press conferences and festival event s section; information is also available from the staff at the Press Centre (the programme is continually updated).
In order to avoid frequency overlap and subsequent reception interference during press conferences, there is a limit on the number of wireless microphones on the speakers’ table. Please use the audio distribution equipment available in the press room (a Canon XLR connector is required for output).

High-resolution videos

Every day, the festival’s television station, KVIFF.TV Live, puts together Daily Highlights from the festival: roughly five-minute long compilations of the best moments and most important events of the previous day. The videos are added to the festival’s website and KVIFF.TV every morning starting 29 June 2024 and are available to journalists for free use.
All videos can be embedded directly from KVIFF.TV. Just click the “Share” button to insert them into your website.

Press releases

All press releases issued by the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival throughout the year will be available at press conferences. Journalists may also subscribe to receive them via email, and they can also be downloaded here here.

Official festival logo

The official logo of the Karlovy Vary IFF may only be used with the written permission of a representative of Film Servis Festival Karlovy Vary a.s., and must respect the parameters given in the manual. Dailies and Daily plans

To facilitate the work of accredited journalists at the festival, we prepare Dailies and Daily Plans with information about all the events planned for journalists for the following day. Dailies are sent to accredited journalists vie email every evening. Daily Plans are available for download here, and printed versions may be picked up at the Press Centre.

The Karlovy Vary International Film Festival does not publish a printed festival catalogue. The catalogue of films is available for download HERE.
