The world of entertainment in Vary. The Allwyn Terrace at the Hotel Thermal is a unique new addition to the festival this year. You can look forward to the Showcar McLaren F1 Mastercard Team, a professional simulator, giant lottery scratchcards, lots of games, and a chillout zone with a stunning view over Karlovy Vary. Experience first-hand how nice it can be to wait at a modern bus shelter, just like the ones passengers encounter in Prague and Central Bohemia. You’ll find one near the Hotel Thermal behind KVIFF.TV Park – a fully operational festival bus stop marked in the timetable as “Hotel Thermal.” From there, a shuttle bus will take you directly to PLAYCE – a place where top-notch cuisine from the Sophia Loren Restaurant is paired with live performances by stars of the Czech and international music scene, captivating art exhibitions, and fashion shows by leading designers.

At the sixtieth edition of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, BMW will be present in front of the Kaiserbad in the form of a newly designed BMW Pop-up. Festivalgoers can look forward to the exclusive Czech premiere of the new BMW X5 and the BMW 7 series. Other main attractions include the limited-edition BMW M2 CZ. A team of specialists will be on hand to answer any questions you might have about the exhibited vehicles or any other BMW products. Additionally, visitors with festival passes can register for a test drive, meaning they can experience first-hand the joy of driving a BMW. The BMW Pop-up zone is open daily 10 am – 6 pm.

During KVIFF 60 in Karlovy Vary, KVIFF.TV Park brings together the power of Canadian hockey brand CCM with the Dagmar and Václav Havel Foundation VIZE 97. Every day from 11 am to 7 pm, you can test your accuracy at the CCM Hockey Goal while helping a good cause. Every time you get a shot to the post, hit the upper corner, or shoot between the goalie’s legs, CCM will donate a financial sum to the Dagmar and Václav Havel Foundation VIZE 97, which is active in the fields of culture, education, healthcare, and social aid. Come and shoot at the goal and support a good cause!

Radiožurnál will again be broadcasting live from the Park Colonnade (Sadová kolonáda). Our special Filmžurnál program offers morning interviews with stars, afternoon film reviews, and tips on what you shouldn’t miss in Karlovy Vary. New this year, Radiožurnál has added an evening program. Plus more guests and a Festival Quiz.  Featuring moderators Jan Pokorný, Libor Bouček, Hanka Shánělová, Martin Balucha, and film critic Pavel Sladký. Daily from 9 am to 8 pm.

Come and taste the festival’s official drink, the Don Red Carpet with Don Papa rum. The bar is open daily from 11am to 3am. Besides excellent drinks, we also have a diverse entertainment program, with music and DJ sets every evening. Find the taste that suits you. Everybody is a star – on the red carpet and at the bar.

Meetings, discussions, and workshops with filmmakers, television creators, and actors about new films, documentaries, and series from Czech Television. Evening concerts. For children, dance, art, and sports programs, meet-and-greets and photo ops with fairy-tale characters; visit the ČT :D photo studio and the ČT Edition shop. Don’t miss a single film. Our rental shops have classic bikes and e-bikes ready for you to get around quickly and comfortably between the tent city and individual screening venues. The rentals are operated by professionals from the Ski & Bike Center Radotín. Rentals are free, so don't hesitate and pick up your Specialized bike at one of these four locations: the tent city, Thermal Hotel, Theater Square (Divadelní náměstí), and in the park by the Grandhotel Pupp. The bikes are available every day from 8 am to 11 pm. This year’s innogy Point is full of music, humor, and acrobatics. Always starting at 7 pm. Enter the world of IQOS | VEEV | ZYN – a place where individual moments are transformed into experiences. Enjoy an espresso, cappuccino, and other specialties inspired by traditional Italian cafés as you relax between films. Our stand offers not only top-notch coffee, but also a pleasant atmosphere, inspiration, and the chance to meet other lovers of coffee and cinema. You’ll find us every day from 10 am to 10 pm. You can also compete for great prizes from Lavazza – simply stop by our stand and enter the festival contest. We look forward to all visitors who want to taste the true flavor of Italy in the heart of the festival. 

The jubilee 60th edition of the Karlovy Vary film festival will again be not just about film, but about beauty as well. You are cordially invited to the L’Oréal Paris Lounge, where you can let yourself be pampered by this leading cosmetic brand. This year, the Mattoni Life Bar at the Thermal Spring Colonnade will once again be the place to be. Every day from 1 pm to 11 pm, you can look forward to a music program, signature non-alcoholic drinks, and a festival atmosphere featuring concerts by Mikolas Josef, PSH, David Koller, Chinaski, Monkey Business, and more. Our menu includes Jan Lukas’s winning drink from the Mattoni Grand Drink competition, The Nest, plus the Mattoni × ALMA pop-up restaurant with excellent food and Mattoni non-alcoholic drinks.

Stop by our pop-up bar every day of the festival for refreshing Mattoni non-alcoholic drinks. You can look forward to the winning drink from the Mattoni Grand Drink competition, plus a special birthday drink celebrating the sixtieth edition of KVIFF, made in collaboration with Alma restaurant. 

Visit the NEHERA brand’s festival pop-up at the Karlovy Vary Municipal Gallery. In this space inspired by the aesthetics of cinema, you can find minimalist fashions, iconic silhouettes, and collections from a brand that is the staff fashion partner of this year’s festival. The best bubbles in Vary never change. Pilsner Urquell again serves up the best beer on tap, with creamy foam poured by our master bartenders. You can also enjoy excellent food and a great program of events: our unique beer tapping school, pouring contests, live performers and DJs.

Profimed delivers a pink container with its pop-up store to the very center of the festival, on the promenade not far from the Grandhotel Pupp. From Friday to Monday (10 am – 6 pm), you will find a premiere presentation of hot new items and a selected range of must-have festival products for the perfect smile and style. You can also look forward to revolutionary dental care from Japan, Swiss dental aesthetics, and new trends in K-Beauty products, all carefully chosen for you – this is just part of the care we provide specifically for the festival. The festival café, Progresus Café by Smetana Q, will be open daily from 9 am to midnight, with specialty coffees, delicious snacks, and evening drinks in the peaceful setting of Dvořák Park – a green oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of the festival. A place for a morning break in the shade of the trees, an afternoon get-together, or a moment of relaxation between film screenings. Come and relax with refreshments at the PUPP-UP Lounge – a stylish zone right by the Grandhotel Pupp, where top-quality mixology is joined by modern street food. Cocktails are provided by bartenders from the legendary Becher’s Bar and the new Splendid Bar speakeasy; gastronomic delights are provided by brothers Giang Ta Binh and Khanh Ta Quoc from Prague’s Gao Den, Taro, Dian, and Pho 100 restaurants.

The lounge is open daily from noon until midnight. Relax while enjoying great drinks and street food served in an original manner.

Reflex magazine is back in Karlovy Vary, where you can find it at several locations! At the Reflex Zone on the first floor of the Hotel Thermal is the traditional popular photo booth, where you can immortalize yourself and add a photo from KVIFF’s jubilee 60th edition to your collection. At the Alžbětiny lázně (Elizabeth Bath), you’ll find exclusive photographs of famous actors by our in-house photographer Nguyen Phuong Thao. But there’s more! We’re also bringing the popular podcasts Poprask and Prostor X to the festival, which you can watch live at KVIFF.TV Park. When the festival has drained your batteries, the Karlovy Vary Region can help recharge them. Every day in the relax zone in the small park behind the Geyser, the Karlovy Vary Region presents a piece of itself along with delicious catering by Pinkiez, featuring the Myšák pastry shop and a program focused on health, wellness, and mindfulness. Recharge your mind and body, daily July 4 – 10, 8 am – 7 pm.

Every day from 10 am to 10 pm at the Municipal Savings Bank building, you can visit the largest power plants in the Czech Republic. Just put on our special VR goggles and you’ll be transported to the nuclear reactor at Temelín, the top of a cooling tower in Dukovany, among high-voltage transmission towers, or inside the empty reservoir at Dlouhé stráně!
