Miroslav Vlček

Miroslav Vlček works as a project manager at the Platform for Sustainable Audiovisual, where he focuses mainly on research in the field of greenfilming and on communicating measures that help reduce the negative impacts of filming. He also works as an assistant professor at the Department of Sociology at the University of Ostrava, where he focuses on the topic of media sustainability in a broader context.

Petra Průšová

Petra Průšová is Managing Director of Kantar Central and Eastern Europe and has been working in research since 1995. She is actively involved in research projects and is known for her contribution in the field of marketing research. Her work encompasses a wide range of activities, including lectures on marketing research and its applications, training and mentoring. She is a mentor in the Odyssey Mentoring Program, has completed courses such as AI Empowerment: Artificial Intelligence as the Key to Creativity and Effectiveness, and is a certified coach in the NeuroLeadership Program.

Kateřina Oujezdská

As a casting director, Kateřina Oujezdská has cast many feature films and series. She represents actors in the OF AGENCY acting agency together with Barbora Fabiánová. She was at the birth of the Czechoslovak actor database ACTORSMAP. Her work consists mainly in finding talented actors for film. She teaches at FAMU together with Anja Geislerová the course “Working with Actor”, does workshops on casting and film acting and now she is at the birth of the new platform TALENTMAP.

Marta Nováková

Marta Nováková is a Czech director and screenwriter. Her debut film Marta (2006) was screened at numerous international festivals, winning several awards, including a nomination for European Debut of the Year (Göteborg). Her film 8 Heads of Madness received the Czech Film Critics' Award. She also directed the acclaimed documentary miniseries Czechoslovak Citizens in Gulags for Czech Television. Marta is from 2023 the Chairwoman of Association of Czech Film Directors, Screenwriters and Script Editors.

Jakub Bakule

Jakub Bakule is a political scientist who specializes in the strategic development of culture. He previously worked at the Ministry of Culture, where he led the creation of the State Cultural Policy 2021–2025 and the country's first national Strategy for Cultural and Creative Industries. He then used these strategies to help design part of the National Recovery Plan, which secures funding for key cultural initiatives. Since 2024, he has served as the president of the Cultural and Creative Federation, an organization dedicated to improving the representation of culture and creativity.  

Daria Kashcheeva

Daria Kashcheeva (1986) is an independent filmmaker based in Prague. She is currently graduating from the Department of Animation at FAMU in Prague. Her undergraduate puppet film Daughter premiered at the Annecy Animation Film Festival, where it received the Krystal Award for Best Student Film. The film has picked up awards at over 100 festivals around the world and is in the running for a narrow Oscar nomination in 2020. The success of Daughter allowed Daria the opportunity to work in a larger team and have better conditions for the production of her master film Electra. Daria is currently developing her feature debut under the working title They/Them, in which she plans to continue exploring hybrid genres and combining live action and animation.

Vratislav Šlajer

Graduate of the Department of Production at FAMU in Prague, a film and television producer. He is dedicated to creating feature films, documentaries, and animated films at Bionaut, a company he founded in 1999. He is the recipient of the International Emmy Awards 2020 for the series #martyisdead, the Czech Lion and the Czech Film Critics' Award for the film Walking Too Fast, and the Czech Lion for the series Mamon, Svět pod hlavou, and #martyisdead.

He is the Chairman of the Audiovisual Producers' Association (APA), member of The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, EFA, and ČFTA. In 2002, he was recognized as Producer on the Move at the Cannes Festival, and became a member of the prestigious producers' network ACE (Ateliers du Cinéma Européen). He has produced television series such as Svět pod hlavou, Mamon, Dáma & Král, #martyisdead, Jitřní záře, Odznak Vysočina, the animated series Rosa & Dara, feature films Walking Too Fast, My 2, Brats, Who’s Afraid of the Wolf, Shoky & Morthy, PSH Nekonečný příběh, among others. In August 2023, the sequel to #martyisdead, titled #annaismissing, premiered in cinemas.

Pavel Strnad

Film producer. In 1995, together with Petr Oukropec, he founded the production company Negativ, which has since produced over 50 feature films. Among his greatest production successes are two European Film Academy Awards: in 2008 for the documentary film René (directed by Helena Třeštíková) and in 2011 for the animated film Alois Nebel (directed by Tomáš Luňák). His film Year of the Devil (directed by Petr Zelenka) won the Crystal Globe for Best Film at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 2002, and the film Something Like Happiness (directed by Bohdan Sláma) won the Golden Shell for Best Film at the San Sebastián International Film Festival in 2005. He also received four Czech Lion Awards for Best Feature Film (Year of the Devil, Something Like Happiness, Protector, Ice Mother) and two Czech Lions for Best Documentary Film (Katka). Pavel Strnad is a board member of the Audiovisual Producers' Association and lectures at FAMU in Prague.

Radomír Dočekal

Radomír Dočekal is a board member of the Association of Audiovisual Producers and Executive Producer and Managing Partner at Milk and Honey Pictures, where he has been involved as an executive producer in all the company's film and TV projects since 2005. He is currently working on the series Foundation for Apple TV+ and is also completing the feature-length documentary The Secret of Death directed by Viliam Poltikovič.

As the former CEO of the Barrandov film studio, he contributed to the development and production of Czech and international feature films and TV series. Radomír was instrumental in the financing project for the reconstruction and construction of new film studios at Prague Studios, totaling 12,000 m2 of studio space, including 4,000 m2 of entirely new space.

Přemysl Martínek

Přemysl Martinek has worked as managing director of the distribution company Artcam, artistic director of Febiofest Bratislava IFF, member and chairman of the Board at Czech Film Fund and head of production of the DIOD theatre in Jihlava. He is currently a lecturer at the Jihlava Centre for Documentary Cinema, a film producer (Word, Tiny Lights) and a manager for regional film funds within the office of the Audiovisual Producers Association. He is also a long-term expert for the Czech Film Fund.​

Helena Bezděk Fraňková

She graduated from law school but has been working in the film industry for some quarter of a century. She started as an assistant director and contributed to the production of films such as Everything Is Illuminated, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and The Brothers Grimm. 

From 2006 to 2012, she was the Director of the Media and Audiovisual Department at the Ministry of Culture. Since 2013, she has been the Director of the Czech Film Fund, now Czech Audiovisual Fund. She played a significant role in the creation of the film incentive system and the new audiovisual law.​


Martin Horyna

Martin Horyna is a Prague-based story consultant and festival curator. Since 2011, he has been affiliated with the Karlovy Vary IFF, initially as a programmer and currently as a consultant focusing on Asian cinema and experimental works. His other festival collaborations include the Alternativa Film Festival, Pragueshorts, Focus Asia in Udine, and When East Meets West in Trieste, among others.

Since 2022, Martin has worked as a script consultant, rough-cut reviewer, and festival strategist. His recent credits include Action Item (KVIFF + FIDMarseille 2025), Bardo (FIDMarseille 2025), Queens of Joy (Thessaloniki 2025), Caravan (Cannes 2025), Better Go Mad in the Wild (KVIFF 2025), and I Am Not Everything I Want to Be(Berlinale 2024). He regularly collaborates with international workshops such as EAVE Ties That Bind, First Cut Lab, Ex Oriente, and DOK.Incubator.

Martin is the acting president of the Czech national section of FIPRESCI. In 2019, he was named one of Screen International’s “Future Leaders” in film programming and curation.
