Actress Rachel Shenton (who is patron of the National Deaf Children's Society) and director Chris Overton came to the 53rd Karlovy Vary IFF to introduce their film The Silent Child. In an interview, the pair discussed filming with a child lead and how the Oscar-winning film has helped improves the life of the hearing impaired in the UK.
