The guests of the 58th KVIFF, actors Viggo Mortensen and Geoffrey Rush, arrived at the Pupp Hotel today and were welcomed by the festival president Jiří Bartoška.
Viggo Mortensen will appear on the red carpet on Friday and attend the opening ceremony at the Thermal Hotel, where he will receive the Festival President’s Award and present the film The Dead Don't Hurt (he will also introduce the film on Saturday at 2.00 pm at the Thermal Hotel Grand Hall).
Geoffrey Rush appeared as a guest at KVIFF back in 2022, when he received from Jiří Bartoška the Crystal Globe for Outstanding Artistic Contribution to World Cinema. This year, he comes as a member of the for the Crystal Globe Competition.
