CABANI / 20 years of work for Karlovy Vary IFF

June 09, 2015, 9:23

Karlovy Vary IFF and CZECH CENTRE PRAGUE has the honour to invite you to the exhibition "CABANI / 20 years of work for Karlovy Vary IFF".

The exhibition is held on the occasion of the jubilee 50th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and the 13th Prague Quadrennial. Czech Centre Prague invites you to scenic shows and insight into their preparation within the multimedia exhibition which documents the original work of Michal and Šimon Caban for the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.

During their studies at the college the brothers Michal and Šimon founded a dance-theatre group "Ballet Unit Cramp". Since that time they work as a script-writers, directors, managers and choreographers with their own group and with other theatre, dance and music groups. They realize their author's ideas and fantasies in the area of theatre, film, video and audio-visual projects.

Today the Caban brothers are renowned professionals. They work for companies and state institutions; they realize ceremonies, individual performances, and cultural events abroad.´

The opening will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 6 pm in Czech Centre Prague.
The exhibition will be introduced by Zdeněk Lyčka and authors.

Open Monday - Friday from 11am to 6 pm,
Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm (not during the holiday).
The exhibition will be open until July 17, 2015.
