A flatulence-plagued narrator guides us through the closed space of a manor house where an arts patron and director of the Sonic Catering Institute uses various forms of manipulation in order to get a trio of performance artists to provide ever better results. This intimate satire shows that, in the world of “sonic culinary art,” everything is a dirty struggle for power.
Synopsis
“Dossierge” Stones is meticulously recording the course of an artistic residence at the Sonic Catering Institute. Unfortunately, his very existence is threatened by loud rumblings from his digestive system. An intimate satire characterized by perfectly stylized mise-en-scène, Flux Gourmet presents us with a tangled web of tense relationships within the world of “sonic culinary art.” The flatulence-plagued narrator guides us through the closed space of a manor house where the arts patron and director of the Institute uses various forms of manipulation in order to get a trio of performance artists to provide ever better results.
