François deals drugs but he’ll only continue doing so until he saves up enough money to fulfil his dream – to become the official distributor of Mr. Freeze popsicles. However, things suddenly get out of hand and François is forced to take on one last job that will hopefully set things straight… A somewhat scatterbrained gang, consisting of his mum, two Mohammeds and his ex-stepfather, leaps into action.
François wants to make a living as a drug dealer just long enough to save up for his own Mr. Freeze popsicle franchise. But just before signing the contract he learns that his mother, a compulsive gambler and occasional kleptomaniac, has spent all his money. And so François is forced to do “one last deal” in order to earn his money back. A somewhat confused gang – consisting of said mother, his former stepfather, his childhood (and still somewhat today) sweetheart, and two Mohammeds – head into action. Romain Gavras surprised audiences at this year’s Cannes festival with a gag-filled action-comedy whose ensemble cast features such actors as Isabelle Adjani and Vincent Cassel.
