Gentle

Horizons 2022 / Szelíd / Hungary 2022

Edina would do anything to fulfil her dream of becoming a bodybuilding world champion. The training and performance-enhancing drugs don’t come cheap, however, so she is forced to accept work as an escort at a specialised agency. Everyone sees Edina merely as a walking mass of muscle and, up until a certain point, that’s how she views herself as well. Until love enters her life...

Gentle Gentle

Synopsis

Edina would do anything to be a world champion bodybuilder. Apart from her own ambition, her main motivating force is her partner Adam, himself a former top-flight muscleman, who fills her head with dreams that he can no longer attain. They don’t have the necessary funds for Edina’s training and performance-enhancing drugs, thus she is forced to accept work as an escort at a specialised agency… In Edina's case the body (in its colossal form) is the only thing that matters, at least from the perspective of the people around her. The phantasmal world of top-performance bodybuilding doesn’t even allow any other considerations. Neither does Adam. It’s not until she has a fleeting amorous encounter that Edina is reminded that she also has a soul which deserves adulation as well.
