Festival Pass+ and Festival Pass+ Smart
For this year's anniversary edition, we are offering two new types of digital passes that allow you to reserve tickets online before you arrive in Karlovy Vary. Both passes are available in
limited quantities, and applications must be submitted exclusively through your user profile on the website
www.kviff.com.
Applications for both Festival Pass+ options will open on Monday, May 18, 2026.

Festival Pass+ (entire festival)
July 3–11
This pass is designed for the biggest film enthusiasts who want to be with us from the opening ceremony all the way to the awards ceremony. It offers the ultimate convenience of digital reservations for the entire 9 days.

Festival Pass+ Smart (excluding the first festival weekend)
July 6–11
This pass is designed for film enthusiasts who know it's "smart" to attend the festival after the first weekend. You'll avoid the biggest crowds in theaters and long lines, and enjoy all the benefits from Monday, July 6, all the way to the closing ceremony on Saturday, July 11, 2026. It offers the ultimate convenience of digital reservations for the entire 6 days.

How does it work in practice?
Ticket reservations are made through the Vodafone KVIFF Guide mobile app:
- You can reserve up to 3 tickets per day for 3 different films.

Tickets must be picked up in person at the box office no later than
60 minutes before the start of the screening (otherwise the reservation will be forfeited).

If a film is sold out, you still have a chance to get a seat through the "Last Minute" option (entry to the theater 5 minutes before the start, subject to availability).
