Northern Ireland-born, Scotland-based film theorist and director Mark Cousins is a frequent visitor to KVIFF and sits on this year’s Grand Jury. He has also brought his latest film The Eyes of Orson Welles, which takes the form of a poetic letter to the great director, to the 2018 KVIFF. In an interview, Cousins recalls encountering A Touch of Evil as an eight-year-old, and discusses what he learned while making The Eyes of Orson Welles.
First-hand brews throughout the year.
