The 54th Karlovy Vary IFF commemorates the 30th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution with screenings of seven films made in 1989–1992. The screenings will be accompanied by an introduction by or discussion with the creators of these outstanding cinematic efforts from an era characterized by a sense of hope in cinema and society at large.
