Laurent Garnier: Off the Record follows the career of the veteran DJ and producer from the underground to huge venues all around the world. The French music great presented the film in person at Karlovy Vary. In an interview, Garnier recalls how his generation had to fight to get techno and house heard in his native country – and says for him it’s all about emotion, not the size of the crowd.
