Changes in the Karlovy Vary IFF programming team

The festival’s selection committee tasked with putting together the program for the 58th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, which is set to take place from 28 June to 6 July 2024, features several new members this year.

The existing team, which is headed by artistic director Karel Och and also includes program coordinator Anna Kořínek and programmer Sandra Hezinová, is being joined by two new programmers, Vojtěch Kočárník and Petra Vočadlová. Both have been members of the Program Department for the past several years and have been prescreening films for the festival program.

Current programmers Lenka Tyrpáková and Martin Horyna have left to pursue new job opportunities. Martin Horyna will continue to be associated with the KVIFF as consultant for Asia and co-programmer for the Imagina section. We would like to congratulate Lenka Tyrpáková on her new job, the details of which will be announced in the coming weeks.
