What to look for in Karlovy Vary on Wednesday? Unusually, the sixth festival day will revolve around a music band, namely Tata Bojs. At 2:00 p.m., singer Milan Cais and bass player Mardoša will be interviewed by Čestmír Strakatý in KVIFF.TV Park. At 3:00 p.m., they will sit down for Tea at Three in the Czech Television House, and finally at 7:00 p.m., the boys from Prague’s Hanspaulka quarter will introduce the world premiere of the documentary TATABOJS.DOC at Grandhotel Pupp. The concert of the successful Czech band starting at 10:00 p.m. will be just the icing on the cake. And speaking of music, Pam Rabbit will perform at Mattoni Life Bar at 6:00 p.m., followed by Dan Bárta & Illustratosphere at 9:00 p.m.
The energy will also spill over into the accompanying programme and cinema halls. At 3:00 p.m., be sure to catch the IN MOTION parkour team performance at Mlýnská kolonáda, which is sure to exceed your expectations. For a lively debate with world-class director Nicole Holofcener, head to the Vodafone Lounge at the Hotel Thermal at 2 p.m. The famous creator of romantic comedies will present the film Please Give in the Congress Hall from 7:00 p.m. The Czech actor Oldřich Kaiser will be featured in the film The Gardener’s Year from 1 p.m. at the Karlovy Vary Municipal Theatre and from 5 p.m. during a discussion at the Czech Television House.
From 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., you can debate with the makers of The Body in My Head and Big Man at the Czech Television House, innogy point invites you for a discussion with the creators of Our Lovely Pig Slaughter from 2 p.m., and talk shows focusing on the competition films Tiny Lights and Loveable will be hosted at the KVIFF.TV Park at 11:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. In the Grand Hall, another pair of contenders for the Crystal Globe, Pierce and A Sudden Glimpse to Deeper Things, will be presented at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., respectively.
