Have you directed or produced a short film and want it to be seen? Submit it to the Pragueshorts Film Festival, whose 21st edition will take place from February 24 to 28, 2027, at Prague’s Kino Světozor, Bio Oko, Kino Pilotů, and Kino Aero, and from February 28 through March 21, 2027, on the KVIFF.TV online platform.
Pragueshorts features three competition sections—National, International, and the experimental Labo—and also screens films in non-competitive sections such as the audience favorite Midnight Program.
Submission deadline is July 20, 2026, for Early Birds, September 1, 2026, for Regular entry, and October 1, 2026, for Late entry.
Only films made after January 1, 2025, will be considered for International Competition, Labo Competition and Midnight Program. Only those made after January 1, 2026, will be considered for the National Competition.
