This poetic Norwegian movie, combining super 8 and HD images, is a nostalgic look at the romantic relationship of two young girls, and an attempt to discover how such a story remains etched in human memory and how profoundly it affects us.

Synopsis

Somewhere in the Balkans, in a garden hidden by a large house, a story unfolds of a great love between two young women. Neither of them wishes to accept that their relationship might ever end. What happens, then, when one day fate takes an unexpected turn? Is it possible to part so suddenly from your beloved? This poetic movie, combining super 8 and HD images, takes a nostalgic look at a romantic relationship. It also attemps to discover how such a story remains etched in human memory and how profoundly it affects us.

Clara Bodén

Clara Bodén (b. 1983, Umeå, Norway) lives in Oslo and runs Vapen och Dramatik AS productions. She studied digital media at the University of Göteborg, and has a bachelor’s in scriptwriting from the University of Umeå. Selected filmography: Dread (2012), Driving Under the Influence of (2010), and Scrap (2009).
