Salt Salt

Synopsis

The significante of salt is the stuff of fairytales. But do we know where and how salt is mined? How it is extracted and by whom? Who processes it and how? Is it only a necessary seasoning or does it have a photogenic beauty? The answers offered by this Russian documentary are equally prosaic and poetic.
