Brother

Synopsis

A young man from Hong Kong decides to go to China to look for his brother whom he has not heard from for three years. His only clue is a postcard from a small town in remote Qinghai, a highland province near Tibet. There he encounters a girl who may have been his brother’s girlfriend, and a young motorcyclist who holds the key to his brother’s disappearance. For the young man, the trip becomes a spiritual journey of discovery whose outcome he could not have foreseen. The film was shot with almost no budget, a crew of six people (half of whom had no film experience) and no professional actors, in a location 4,000 meters above sea level.
