About the director

Bibhusan Basnet, Pooja Gurung Bibhusan Basnet, Pooja Gurung

Bibhusan Basnet and Pooja Gurung (b. Nepal) live in Kathmandu. Their first short The Contagious Apparitions of Dambarey Dendrite (2013) screened at several fests, including the Prague Short Film Festival. Dadyaa is their second short movie. Currently, the duo are working on their first feature The Whole-Timers, selected by Cinéfondation’s L’Atelier coproduction forum at Cannes in 2016.
