About the director


Natalia Beliauskene (1966) lives in Moscow. She studied economics, later film directing and script writing. Her directorial debut Apelsin / Orange from 2003 (a documentary shot on mini-DV) won several domestic and international prizes. Gone Fishing is her first 35 mm project.
