When the self-assured Marija is placed in an institution for mentally disabled youth, she immediately bonds with the similarly independent-minded Dragana. But when they find that they are both in love with the introverted Robert, the girls engage in a ruthless struggle that threatens not only their fragile friendship but also the seemingly unshakeable authority of the entire institution.
