When Marija is placed in an institution for mentally disabled youth, she bonds with the independent-minded Dragana. But their friendship is threatened when they both fall in love with the introverted Robert. Filled with emotional twists and turns, the film tells the story of an unusual love triangle and the desperate yearning for freedom and intimacy.

When the self-assured Marija is placed in an institution for mentally disabled youth, she immediately bonds with the similarly independent-minded Dragana. But when they find that they are both in love with the introverted Robert, the girls engage in a ruthless struggle that threatens not only their fragile friendship but also the seemingly unshakeable authority of the entire institution. As seen from three divergent viewpoints, this sensitive film set in a real institution tells the story of an unusual love triangle filled with tense emotions and painful disappointments, but, above all, it is about the desperate yearning for freedom and intimacy.
